RISK / REWARD captures, for the first time, an intimate look into the corridors of financial power from a unique perspective. It follows the lives of four tenacious Wall Street women - a research analyst, a currency trader, a NYSE floor broker and a rookie investment banker. Each finds herself in a high-stakes arena, enthralled by the freedom of financial independence. Yet, despite their privileges the women are always mindful of the industry's downside: it is notoriously unforgiving of one's personal life. In the film, these women negotiate multi-million-dollar transactions, new babies, intense competition, and personal doubts - all against the backdrop of 9/11.

A smash sellout during its New York Theatrical engagement and at the 2003 Tribeca Film Festival, RISK/REWARD is a fresh and fierce take on the women of Wall Street by directors Elizabeth Holder and Xan Parker. Executive produced by Peter Gilbert, producer of the award-winning "Hoop Dreams" and "Vietnam, Long Time Coming, RISK/REWARD is by turns inspirational, heartbreaking, funny and truthful.
