He lives in New Delhi, India. He was born in 1972. He is married and has a son and a daughter.

He passed out of Modern School, Barakhamba Road in 1990. He graduated from St. Stephen's College in 1993 (History Honours)
and worked in the Delhi MID DAY as a reporter. He has been associated with the software industry and is currently freelancing as a journalist. He is a real estate developer and stock market investor. He enjoys writing science fiction and spiritual themes.

He writes frequently in The Hindustan Times and The Times of India, India's top English dailies.

He enjoys meditation and painting. He completed his law degree (LL.B) in 2007.
