Acid Jazz Brainwave: Headphone Study Music For Concentration and ADHD
Artist/Band: Dr. Jane Ma'ati Smith C.Hyp. Msc.D.
Relax, put on your headphones, and lose yourself in the task at hand! Embedded in the urban beat of Acid Jazz, are sound therapy techniques that will help balance and refocus the brainwaves of those suffering from ADHD. This sound therapy program will help you to focus at work or while studying, and enjoy the music you love!
This program is designed to speed up the Left Brain with Beta frequencies, to help with ADD/ADHD. The Left Brain is good for paying attention, mental concentration, and reducing emotional responses and hyperactivity. This program also stimulates the Right Brain with SMR (sensory motor response). Speeding up the brain to reduce hyperactivity may seem counter intuitive, but it is a very effective technique. ADHD is labeled a slow-wave condition, because of the EEG differences between a normal brain and a brain suffering from ADHD, which has an overabundance of slower brainwave patterns.
Because this session introduces different stimulation to each side of the brain, headphones are required. You may also notice a slight 'helicopter' sound; this is the sound therapy at work. Just relax and enjoy, and before you know it, your homework will be done!
