Jennifer has studied yoga for the past fourteen years with a variety of instructors including Doug Swenson. As a hypnotherapist for the past thirteen years, Jennifer has pioneered the Dolphin Method, a unique methodology she developed using hypnosis for gentle birthing and anxiety reduction. Jennifer utilizes the Dolphin Method and yoga in her doula practice to achieve deep mind and body relaxation.

You know how some workout videos get old after awhile??? Not this one! When I got the video I was about 13-14 weeks and was still going to my regular yoga classes at our gym. However, after doing the DVD just one time I was hooked and have not returned to class! I feel like I am getting an excellent strength and cardio workout with a focus on movements that are safe for me and our baby. I look forward to doing it every time and on some days have actually chosen it over other planned workouts!
This dvd is truly incredible. I started it in my third week of pregnancy and was hooked! It was the only prenatal dvd that I stuck with because not only did I feel restored and more centered after the workout (yes, it's long but very well paced), but I noticed that my body became very tone and flexible and...dare I say it, even LOOKED better as time went on. My legs and buttocks were more toned than they have ever been -not something I expected to see during pregnancy!
I have had some dance training as well as a brief background in Pilates, so I went into this in pretty good shape. You need to have a fairly good awareness of body alignment to get the most of this dvd. It's challenging, but not to the point where you will wear yourself out. And I would like to add, I gave birth two weeks ago, went through a very traumatic dry delivery, and as a 41 year-old first time mom, I'm amazed at how quickly my body recovered. If I could give this dvd more stars I would. Cannot recommend it highly enough!
