Another film by James O'Regan: Shooters

What happens when an innocent young couple stumbles upon a town of Ed Sullivan impersonators!

Fifteen years in the making! Well alright, fifteen years to the DVD on demand. This award winning theatrical comedy was released in 1990 with its smash world premiere at the Festival of Festivals in Toronto.

In this DVD, you will find the TV version of Edsville (14 min), which played in Canada on the CBC network, with a 15% share and 1.02 million viewers, beating all CBC comedies by factor of three.

You will find the 35mm version (14:05) with a wide screen aspect ratio. This print was one of three that 10,000 people saw in theatres across Canada. There is slight wear and tear damage, which soon clears up as the reel unfolds. We replaced the original mono optical soundtrack, which sounded awful from deterioration, with a stereo soundtrack.

You will find two interviews: one by Mike Duffy (4:32) on CTV's Sunday Edition with James O'Regan and Stuart Clow; the other, a radio interview, by the late Peter Gzowski (8:00) on CBC Radio's Morningside with Alan Marr and James O'Regan. Added to the Gzowski interview are production stills of the two weekend shoot.

We, at A Really Big Production Inc., have been waiting 15 years for the CustomFlix business model. Many fans have written for VHS copies and we've tried to accommodate but at $40 a copy, we felt bad about selling them. We are thrilled with the CustomFlix price, $14.95, and its capability to serve our fans.

In fact, we are thrilled to have this opportunity to connect directly with fans of Edsville. We hope you have as much fun watching it as we did making it.
