About the author:
African-born M.H.A. Menondji migrated to the United States more than a decade ago from France and Benin. A graduate from the French Universities of Orleans and La Sorbonne (International Law), she also holds a B.A. in Political Science from Whittier College. She writes in two languages, including English she learned as a third.
