About the author:
Byron Mettler lived his early years on the beautiful plains of North Dakota. Each spring burst to life with miles of graceful wheat fields flowing out to the pure blue sky on the distant horizon.
Chandler also lived in North Dakota and experienced the song of the nesting Red Robin accompanied by the steady moan of unchecked winds rushing across the land. The sun of summer and the ice of winter came and fled leaving behind remnants of remembrance.
Byron gathered a few memories, thoughts and ideas and wove them into a moving story about a wounded soul. Those of you who have experienced sadness, loneliness or loss, will understand the quest Chandler is about to embark on.
Chandler is shackled away in a silent world void of sight, hearing or feel. Doctors had given up on his recovery expecting him to sit frozen in his wheelchair for the rest of his life
The unfailing support of his mother and sister sparked a seed of awareness, sending Chandler on a spiritual quest in search of answers
Follow Chandler as he embarks on a journey that will cause you to reflect about life, love compassion and faith.
"Chandler was so quiet and yet so awake. I could not put the book down. It is a book worth reading more than once. Each character had life enriching and reality qualities with both joy and pain. Take a journey with Chandler and family and see what you learn."
