About the author:
Randy Baker was born in Nashville, Tennessee, grew up outside of Kingston, Jamaica, has travelled halfway around the globe and is now settled back in Tennessee where he lives with his wife and daughter.

An admitted journalism school dropout, he has written ad and news copy for the radio industry, produced non-fiction articles for the music and travel industries and penned numerous songs in multiple genres.

Eventually, though, Randy decided it was time to bring his literary leanings out of the shadows. Speaking through poetry and prose, he began a new journey. His work has been published both online and in print. He is also founding editor of St. Somewhere Journal.

Beyond the Horizon is the first published collection of Randy Baker's written work.

Beyond the Horizon is the first published volume of collected works by Randy Baker. With a predominately Caribbean setting, 21 works of poetry and fiction combine to take the reader on a journey through physical and emotional landscapes, as seen and imagined by the author. Though decidedly regional in approach, the messages and explorations of "Beyond the Horizon" are universally relevant.
