About the author:
Hi my name is Richard White AKA (Pen Name) Shotgun Bo Rivers, and I grew up in a little town called Danby, VT, at 31 years old, I look back at all of the places I have traveled in the world while in the U.S. Armed Forces. Germany, Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan, and realize what a great journey it has been. After returning home and recovering from injuries in the Army, I became a Professional Bull rider, and amateur Bareback Bronc rider. I found very much love and Passion in the sport of rodeo, where I not only gained respect, but also gave it in return to fellow cowboys, and cowgirls in the rodeo circuit. I also have learned to respect and passionately love the animals of the sport. In Rodeo, bulls are my favorite, but for being an everyday cowboy, horses have always been my passion, I was once told that I had mustang blood in me, which led to the poem that I wrote Wild Horse in my book Pages Full of Memories.
In 2007 My Fiancé now wife and I had a little girl, Madison Jean White, which led to my semi-retirement from rodeo, with one day to return, and ride bulls for at least one more year.
I have been writing for eighteen years and decided after being laid off from my job as a carpenter that I would learn how to publish my work. After two years of research and lots of coffee I self-published my first two books on Createspace, Lulu, and just recently Smashwords.
Since Ritchie white was a small boy, he dreamed of being a cowboy, living the way of the old west. He grew up watching, western films with his grandfather Ken Ford, From Tom Mix, and John Wayne to Glen Ford, and Clint Eastwood. The Freedom of riding across a great divide, or spending a month on a cattle drive with little to eat, a bedroll, and a tin cup for coffee, always made Ritchie's eyes wander off into the land of fiction, where he had gunned down an outlaw before they shot the town marshal and saved the day. Therefore, it is of no surprise that his daydreaming and imagination would come alive with his stories in adulthood. Currently he is writing a western fiction novel Laramie's Thunder The Collins' Crew,Ritchie White's only hopes are to help the western genre come back to the top, and when people read his stories, and poems, they enjoy them all, as I have enjoyed writing them, with his grandfather in thought, every moment, wishing he could tell him his story of the Old West.

Pages Full of Memories

Second Edition

Authored by Richard White

This Book is a book of poetry that defines my life in many ways. I began writing it at the age of thirteen, when my life began to get filled with turmoil. I went from fear and loneliness to heartbreak and sadness.
I picked my journal back up when I entered the U.S. armed forces and began to write again. I also wrote a lot of poetry about my life as a Pro and Amateur rough-stock rider in Rodeo. I finished the journal just last year and decided to publish it and share my life experience. I hope everyone that gets a copy of this book enjoys reading it as i enjoyed writing it for several years.
