Goblin Alley: the Bloodied Fang

Authored by Michael Burges

Plunge into Goblin Alley, a world wide web of magic, wealth and danger linking every city around the planet to the goblin city Goblinus.

Trouble starts for high school senior and cross country star Dalton Hicks when he saves a homeless man from falling in front of a New York subway train. Minutes later geists ambush him. Dalton runs for his life and the chase drives him into Goblin Alley where he discovers that the Goblin King has put a price on his head.

Believing that Dalton has the Bloodied Fang, a mystical artifact, the Goblin King wants Dalton on his turf. Being quick on his feet saves him as Dalton flees and escapes into another alleyway leading him out into Shanghai traffic.

A bounty hunter called Nan tracks him to Shanghai and sends taoties, ancient monsters, after Dalton. Lost, tired, in a strange country, the taoties nearly corner Dalton. He sees a young woman change into a fox and dart away through traffic. Believing she might lead him back to Goblin Alley, he follows hoping to find his way home. Chasing the fox-girl, pursued by taoties and Nan, Dalton barely escapes back into Goblin Alley.

Mingmei, the fox-girl, helps Dalton figure out who set him up. His only chance, find the Bloodied Fang and steal it back for the Goblin King - before the bounty hunters catch him. With Mingmei, pursued by bounty hunters and goblins, Dalton traces the clues and path of the Bloodied Fang from Shanghai and New York to London and Moscow and the clutches of the Erlking, sworn enemy of the Goblin King. Caught between power forces, Dalton finds himself in the race of his life across two worlds!
