"It's all about helping people," says Gretchen Slinker Jones of her writing, which includes two books on résumé writing, a volume of poetry, a commentary on American politics, three Christian devotionals, and other Christian self-help books.

Jones was raised and educated in the farm country of Southwest Idaho and continues to study Writing. She spent 17 years in Southcentral Alaska before moving to the "Inland Northwest" in the late 1990s, settling on the fringe of the beautiful Selkirk mountain range. The owner of a desktop publishing and business writing firm, Jones specializes in résumé writing for clients all over the globe. She has been teaching résumé writing for more than 20 years. Jones' freelance writing projects have included a weekly newspaper column for five years and a number of newspaper articles.
