Papook and the King of Palat

Authored by Ms. Elinor E Perla

Papook and the King of Palat
After he is adopted by Old Ayo the medicine man, Papook grows up a happy young man, and is now working at the Palace of the King of Palat serving tea. There he falls in love with the king's daughter Alma Lina, and sneaks around the palace to catch glimpses of her. Papook's habit of aimlessly wondering around brings him one day face to face with obligations he can't handle alone. He gets himself in big trouble by pretending to be a spirit, and thus deceiving the king in order to help a friend. How much longer will he be able to play that role? How will Papook handle his responsibilities when the King and the Princess are being threatened?
