About the author:
Crystal Zaborowski Saltrelli is a Certified Health Counselor specializing in gastroparesis management. Via one-on-one programs, her blog and her social media pages, she's helped gastroparesis patients worldwide learn to minimize their symptoms, maximize their nutrition, and better understand the condition.

Crystal's interest in holistic health and nutrition began soon after she was diagnosed with idiopathic gastroparesis in 2004 at the age of 23. She eventually went on to study Health Counseling and Holistic Nutrition at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and became certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners in 2010. She also has a Bachelor's Degree from Dartmouth College and has completed continuing education coursework via the Harvard School of Medicine.

In addition to her health counseling practice, Crystal is actively involved in the greater gastroparesis community, currently serving as Nutritional Specialist for the Gastroparesis & Dysmotilities Foundation and patient-advocate for the Digestive Health Alliance. Finally, Crystal is hard at work on the very first book devoted entirely to all aspects of gastroparesis management, which is expected to be published this fall.
