The Rucksack Letters

Authored by Steve McAllister

In 2001, Steve McAllister was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder. Shortly after, he decided to push it to the limit. Leaving behind the life that he knew, Steve followed the footsteps of Kerouac down the road less traveled. The Rucksack Letters is the account of one man's journey toward self discovery, filled with colorful characters, blazing humor, and somber soul-searching through the vivid tapestry of America's underbelly. At a time when the world is seeking a new path, The Rucksack Letters is a pivotal first step.

Celebrating the 10th year of the first letter, The Rucksack Letters is being re-released in paperback for the first time in five years. As the a new decade begins, building upon what the last decade created, a voice crying in the wilderness may be just what we need to hear.
