About the author:
I am "The Germantown Angel". I have made my unique dance with the devil available for the world to experience. My message is for the youth who are in the clubs. Be very careful of just who you encounter and trust. I was no different. Take precautions. Be cautious. If you were anything like me, you may never know just who you may meet there or who may follow you home for the rest of your life. I was young once. I was blind. I thought I had the world in my grasp. Someone came along and took away my freedom. He took away my loved ones. He took away my life. May whomever reads this true story find strength, hope, and most importantly God. I am a survivor. Yet without a higher power I would not have survived. May God get the glory now. I am free.

Born In Betrayal

Authored by Ms. Patricia Ann Maxey

This is a true, tragic and compelling story about my ultimate survival through 28 years of stalking earning the title of "The Germantown Angel" of Philadelphia. One brief encounter in a disco on the south side on Ladies Night with one of the most notorious gangsters in American history and my life and freedom would never be the same. A now deceased black italian mafioso /pimp who was in his prime had suddenly had his sight's on me literally resulting in his following me the next 28 years of my life through life threatening obstacles and roadblocks leading to the birth of my son. Living a life on the run through some of the most dangerous ghettos on the east coast he never laid a hand on me in life yet he had to own me. Betrayal's unfold as I fought for my sanity, and life losing every one I've ever known or loved in my life to him. R.I.P mortal man who could never own something that belongs to God. Freedom is mine now. I am just beginning to live.
