Marcia Mayo EdD
After Peachtree Creek floods for the second time in two years, Frances finds an old box washed up in her backyard. In trying to solve the mystery of what's in the box, she also learns about the people who lived there before her.
Frances, Tuck, Susannah, James, Rosie, and Carl all have something in common. What is it? Find out when you read Secret Stories from Peachtree Creek.
This book helps children understand that history isn't necessarily from long ago and far away, and it doesn't have to be boring. Discovering history is very much like solving a mystery, and that's what they will do as they read Secret Stories from Peachtree Creek.
