Planning Children's Birthday Parties: Libby and Penny's Survival Guide is a common-sense reference book, written by educators, filled with information for the successful implementation of the first birthday celebration through grade school parties.
What sets this book apart from other parent resource books is the attention given to details such as: a well-planned timeline based on the activity level and ages of the children, developmentally appropriate activities, and guidelines for what to do with the children from the moment they arrive at the party until they go home.
This resource guide offers realistic in depth explanations and strategies beginning with pre planning through the party day and after the event.
When there is an organized party plan, the party is kept simple, the child is included in the planning process, the guest list is limited, then there will be a great party along with a happy child and parents before and after the event.
Included are detailed step by step plans, age appropriate activities, sample theme parties, decoration ideas, new traditions, manners, behavior expectations, food ideas, checklists, safety tips, timelines, and a quick guide for planning the overall party. This reference guide full of ideas, templates, and easy to follow format will help in creating lifelong birthday party memories.
The planning can be as much fun as the event.
