About the author:
David Stanley Epstein is a native New Yorker who has traveled around the world trading gems. He has lived in the heart of the most intensive mining region of Brazil since 1983.
Among his credits: gem consultant to the People Republic of China and a foreign Editor of Colored Stone Magazine. He is a renowned gem sculptor and cutter, Mr Epstein has been published in the Lapidary Journal, Joyas y Joyeros (Madrid) and other gem and jewelry publications.
