About the author:
Evylyn grew up in Delaware and Maryland. During her time in the US Army as a Combat Medic, she briefly lived in South Carolina and Texas before being stationed at Fort Wainwright, Alaska. After a medical discharge, she moved to Colorado where she currently resides with her husband, son, and two cats.
Evy began her research into and practice of Wicca in the summer of 2000. As she learned, she built webpages and online communities to share the knowledge as she obtained it. Her current website, Messages in the Moonlight (MIM), was born in 2003 and has grown and matured alongside Evylyn. Although she still associates with Wicca, she considers herself a Witch with heavy Wiccan influence.
She holds a Bachelors of Science in Psychology with the hopes of working toward a Masters of Divinity in the future. She became a self-published author in 2012 and continues working on novels and books for future publication. In addition to maintaining and improving MIM, Evy has plans for opening and running metaphysical retail and services for her local community.
Events After Ragnarok According to Loki's Daughter
Hela, daughter of Loki, tells the reality of the Norse myths and how events unfolded after Ragnarok. With a touch of her father's "trickster" humor, Hela takes on the serious task of clearing up modern misconceptions while providing new perspectives and healing as she rebuilds Hel her way and visits the other gods.
During her quest, Hela runs into problems that threaten the Norse world and the entire Universe. She must come to terms with her true nature, accept her Shadow, and learn when not to act while maintaining awareness of the dire situation the mortals of Midgard face should she fail.
Featuring our heroine, Hela, her two brothers, the most innocent goddess in existence, a god who says he's quitting, the Scrooge of the Norse pantheon, that guy with eyes like a hawk, and the loveliest twins in the Universe. Hela also meets with the warrior god among a pantheon of warriors, a prophesying trio, Jesus' spirit brother, the simple-minded yet helpful goddess, the motherly goddess, and a retired All-Father. Complete with special appearances from the most hated but loveable god ever!
