About the author:
Michael Horton is a storyteller living in northern Atlanta. In 2009 he earned his BFA in Game Art and Design, but in 2010 he began his pursuit of professional writing "for real this time." His debut novel, Devil Have Mercy, was accepted for publication the following year. He continues to draw pixel art and obsess over geeky statistics as a side-side-side hobby, but writing consumes most of his time. While Michael has never seen a real life pegasus and would be too afraid to ride one, he is sure the experience would be amazing. You know. Probably.

Into Thin Eyr

Eyr's island is destroyed by the Fall, a drop over the edge of the world. With a chameleon named Caviar by her side, Eyr travels from village to village and soon discovers that everyone is struggling to survive even if their methods make no sense, but she has to wonder... is survival even worth it?

Eyr's brother, a mechanical genius, invents a flying machine. She survives the Fall, finally free of her emperor's tyranny. However, the world down below is far from ideal, and mysterious creatures called chameleons seem to lurk around every corner. What is their secret, and why do they want to help Eyr survive even as those around her fade away?

Eyr Apparent

A deadly secret casts doubt on Eyr's friendship with the empress. What is the true nature of the world and its scaly, colorful inhabitants? How long can the empress hide her intentions before the nations enter a needless war? And what secret could be worth risking a second apocalypse?

A country where social status is measured in blood. A village where the all-seeing oracle is never wrong. A creation myth that dictates the very fate of all that exists, from the mighty Gaunt elder to the smallest chameleon. Eyr and Caviar will need to understand these mysteries and more if they hope to prevent a cataclysmic war that will surely end their ever-changing world.
