Continue the adventure

About the author:
L.A. Marr has played with words her whole life, using them to paint pictures of what she saw growing up in the forests and fields in Oregon. At 50 she decided that she should remember those long ago worlds and paint again. To her surprise a new world opened, one based around the occupants of a special place called Ethaia. This is her first published work.

Ms. Marr still lives in the wonderful green state of Oregon with her husband of 30 years. Because of her love for all things outdoors, she has been involved over the years with all activities outdoors and with dogs and horses. Camping, fishing, hunting, shooting, dressage, equitation, heavy teams, trail riding, cattle drives, firefighting, canine search & rescue, medical and disaster response. She is currently living on the south coast where she still enjoys her horses and dogs.

Large Print Edition

Authored by L A Marr

Aleyne Agrurova lost her parents when she was barely a toddler. Her care fell to her aunt and uncle. Her uncle Raul Agrurova is a well-known scout who spends much time away from their cabin high in the wilderness of Utonica. Aleyne learned how to hunt, trap, and survive on her own, and when she was old enough she learned to become a scout of the caliber only her uncle could teach her. Such are the adventures of a girl growing up in the wilderness where there are beasts and orcs and sometimes the only thing between you and life is a sharp sword.

What does it take for a headstrong girl to survive growing up on the frontier? A sharp sword, a good horse, and a uncle who loves her enough to let her soar. This prequel to Ethaia tells the story of this remarkable young lady's life prior to walking into a fight that changes her world.

This is a large-print version of my published work of the same name.
