Vanished into Stitches
Artist Ruth Marshall showcases her intricate knitted textiles in this stunning little 34 page softcover book. Get an insight into her unique story and the urgent message she is delivering through her one of a kind designs of endangered animal pelts.
"Unsettling is one reaction that suits the world my work intends to reflect. We should all feel uneasy about the state of wild animals. Artists create for different reasons all their own. I see a need to be constantly reminded of humanity and the role I play in it." - Ruth Marshall
Fourteen art works are featured, including six ocelots and six fully realized tigers, all hand knitted and researched from individual animals.
