The Viking Sands

Authored by Thomas Torrens

The Viking Sands is a must read thriller about critical events happening today. It is set against the world's growing oil crisis and its ensuing, inevitable slide into economic and political chaos. Much of what it presages has already come to pass, with devastating consequences. Imagine in this desperate environment that an exotic biochemical weapon is discovered that has an insatiable appetite for crude oil. This core premise is based on documented scientific fact, with only a small leap of faith necessary. The consequences are unimaginable, ultimately leading to a doomsday nuclear confrontation that pits Israel against Iran. Both the recent disastrous oil spill in the US sector of the Gulf of Mexico and the current political upheaval in many Middle Eastern oil producing countries have brought the world of international oil sharply and topically back into public focus. Once you pick up this fast moving thriller, you won't want to put it down!
