On the battlefield in Vietnam, a young Medic named Allen Kendrick made decisions that would haunt him for the rest of his life. Many years after the war, Dr. Allen Kendrick, a medical research scientist is the Director of a drug study project for a giant pharmaceutical, Biodyne International in a California State Prison. Using black inmates as test subjects, Allen once again makes questionable decisions with the fate of his test subjects.
Many years later, Dr. Kendrick is the successful owner/operator of Medical Clinic in Los Angeles, CA. A respected member of member of the Community, a leader in his church, a man who enjoys the full support of the people. On the day he is to announce his candidacy for a seat in the US Congress, a process planned and controlled by his Mentor, Reverend Raymond Pearson, the head of Liberty's Light Baptist Church, a dying man named Harvey Hutchinson enters Allen's clinic for treatment for Liver damage. Harvey is suing Biodyne in Civil Court for Personal Injury, as the last surviving test subject from state prison. If Mr. Hutchinson is allowed to testify in open Court, it could ruin Allen's and Biodyne's reputations. Destroying any chance of Dr. Kendrick winning the Election, and costing Biodyne hundreds millions of dollars in future profits for their drugs. Mitchell Albionetti, an executive for Biodyne is determined to stop Harvey anyway that he can. The hopes and dreams of an entire Community of having a voice, their voice in Congress, to speak to their needs, and a giant pharmaceutical company's campaign to recoup millions in Research & Development investment dollars, and one man's life hang in the balance.
