About the author:
Rob retired in 2008 and was sailing toward his next adventure on the Caribbean aboard his 40' ketch "Sandpiper." When, to his surprise, he discovered the quaint town of St. Augustine. He immediately fell in love, got married and traded the boat in for a house. The rest as they say is history. With time on his hands, he was able to concentrate on two of his favorite pastimes; photography and history. With St. Augustine as his backdrop he has been busy! This book is a companion guide to the tour conducted several times a day by the Captain and crew of the St Augustine Harbor Cruise boat Victory III.

Victory III Souvenir Guide

Authored by Rob Lynch

Matanzas Bay is a unique microcosm of diverse ecosystems and historical events. A thriving tourist metropolitan area as well as habitat for numerous species of wildlife coexist. It is the junction of the Atlantic Ocean via the St. Augustine Inlet and the Tolomato and Matanzas River, crossed by the beautiful Bridge of Lions to Anastasia Island.

Most visitors and residents alike overhear the tour guides telling stories of Americas Oldest City, Ponce de León, Pedro Menéndez and Henry Flagler as we travel around town. But this is a new story. A story about St. Augustine from the perspective as seen from the water.
