Everyone Here is Jim Dandy

Authored by R W Boughton

Everyone Here is Jim Dandy is not about multiple sclerosis alone. Rather, multiple sclerosis itself is in many ways about living life in a world such as ours, with its ups and downs, its challenges and rewards, its triumphs and its failures. While the material in this book is informative in regard to MS, it is not intended to be a medical study. Instead, this is an autobiographical account, generously seasoned with humor, of the struggle to deal with a life-changing illness. It is a story about how one must rediscover who he is when he is suddenly no longer who he used to be. Disease becomes not only a metaphor for the challenges of the unexpected in every day life, but an ironic springboard for personal growth, inner strength, and a maturing compassion.
