P. Sufenas Virius Lupus is a metagender person, and is the founder and Doctor of the Ekklesia Antinoou--a queer, Graeco-Roman-Egyptian syncretist reconstructionist polytheist group dedicated to Antinous, the deified lover of the Roman Emperor Hadrian, and related divine figures--in addition to being a sacerdos in the public cultus of Antinous, a Lupercus, and the Mystagogos of the Antinoan Mysteries. Lupus has written several books devoted to Antinous, as well as a book of poetry, and essays, fiction, and poetry in a variety of anthologies.
