About the author:
Born and raised in the Big Apple.
With the exception of what happened on 9/11, I have always found humor in New York and its inhabitants.
Nowadays, I live in a much calmer environment but a lot of my writing harkens back to the times I had when younger, surrounded by the nicest seven million people on the planet.
Though I started by writing poetry in college - and I still do from time to time find it a marvelous source of venting and so much easier than blogging - I have moved on to other subjects but still infuse humor into the mix whether novels of current fiction or science fiction.
Bottom line, I always say if you're not laughing, you're not living.
Live well!

Mechanical Mouse

Authored by Ralph A. Thomas

This is a humorously cynical view of society and the moral systems we have developed. The poems poke fun at government, hippies, the drug culture, romance, sexuality, sociology, politics, and so many things about life that we take for granted everyday. Most were written in my "angry young man" days in college. Cute illustrations accompany each poem. That is, "cute" if you like rodents.
