ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Marsha Jean Newton was born on November 15, 1941 in Monrovia, California, one of seven siblings.
Marsha said, "I loved to doodle and draw for as long as I can remember and amazingly sold my first works to the family doctor who was making a house call and saw my dinosaur pictures, hanging on the wall. He asked if he could buy them to hang on the wall in his office. As a ten year old I was delighted and said 'YES'. This inspired me to keep on with my drawings."
When Marsha was 12 years old a youth leader from a nearby church invited her and her three older brothers to a youth meeting at their church. It was not long until the young lady realized she needed Jesus in her life and asked Him to come into her heart.
Marsha said, "As I grew up I turned away from the Lord, found myself divorced and living a miserable life, even though He had blessed me with three beautiful girls." Continuing "At the age of 33 I turned back to a new relationship with the Lord and asked Him to use me however He saw best, that I would follow Him to the very best of my ability."
Twenty-five years later, health issues caused her to retire from working and move to Oklahoma with one of her daughters. In the new place she became much closer to God with Him bringing a couple of wonderful Christian women into her life to mentor her and with their help this publication 'OH - Little Jar of Clay' was a reality.
"My prayer is that this little book will bless the lives of those who read it or hear it read." - Marsha
