Scott Silverii, Ph.D. serves as the Chief of Police for a city in the heart of "Cajun Country" Louisiana, after serving 21 years for a nationally accredited Sheriff's Office.
Chief Silverii began his law enforcement career in 1990, with a variety of assignments including 12 years undercover and 16 years in SWAT. He has unique operational experiences during Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, the BP Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill, an active school shooter incident, and the gruesome murder of a child that captured international attention, and featured on the HLN's Dr. Drew Show.
He has also seen the best of humanity, community and hope. The combination of both lives lived makes him the father, friend and son who prays continually for restoration of the spirit.
Scott Silverii, Ph.D. is a nationally renown speaker and subject matter expert in exploring the better way.
Chief Silverii is an avid road cyclist, and counts the 3 day, 300 mile Police Unity Tour bike ride into the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial's Police Week as a career highlight.
