Call of the Sacred Drum
An Introduction to Shamanism
Rev. David Robert Cobb
Call of the Sacred Drum Volume One - An Introduction to Shamanic Healing, describes the shamanic healing methods of North and South American, Siberian, and Hawaiian shamans and how you can use these methods for your own well being.
This book not only covers the basics, which is known as core shamanism, in other words, journeying, but also delves into advanced shamanic practices not usually explained, involving the soul and the spirit of man, and more common methods such as spirit extraction, herbalism, soul retrieval, crystal and plant spirit medicine, the medicine wheel, the psychopomp, and divination.
This book is a revised and reformatted edition of the Call of the Sacred Drum - Shamanic Healing Methods for Wiccan Healers, including an extra chapter on ceremonies and expanded content especially designed for use with the CSD School of Shamanism Shamanic Practitioner Course.
