William E. Londea
Life and living, replete with challenges, obstacles and discouragement can seem to or actually be overwhelming; decisions need to be made, deadlines have to be met and obligations must be fulfilled.
It is, therefore, no small wonder that in all of our frenetic go, go, going we tend to overlook or completely forget life and living are not preordained to be perpetually chaotic and difficult.
"Pearls" is a smattering of familiar aphorisms to help us remember those facts.
It does not, nor does it attempt to offer absolutes.
It does, however, attempt to plant seeds of thought and consideration that may help lead to resolutions using words sparingly rather than in long, expansive narratives. It is also a handy reference for the times we ponder life and living as a matter of course.
Just as life and living have not succeeded at permanently stifling our efforts in the past, "Pearls" reminds us that there are no fixed reasons for them to be able to do so now.
