About the author:
W. Green is a Chicago architect and writer. One day, his wife Laura related her "No Pain" philosophy for happiness in life. He listened and scoffed. "It was too simple. Life is complicated. You just don't understand." Finally, like a husband lost and without a map, he asked her for direction. She then related her simple, honest, approach to life, and he wrote it down. Now they are both happy.
