Star 82 Review 1.2

Authored by Alisa Golden

Star 82 Review is an art and literary online and print magazine with excellent original work and lyrical language. The written pieces included are short and contain between 14-1000 words; they are meant to be easily read both onscreen and on the page. Each one is layered and worthy of multiple readings.

This issue is in the spirit of summer travel with personal essays, poems, and stories that revolve around planes, trains, and automobiles. The works deal with parents and children, dreams and daydreams, life cycle events and life in general. Even the most fanciful pieces feel emotionally true.

The artwork is broad and colorful: photographs, altered postcards, a painting, and a ballpoint pen drawing. Leading the second issue of Star 82 Review is a page from A Humument by Tom Phillips, king of the erasure text.
