About the author:
Amy Thomas spent most of her life in Kansas, spending summers in the very house and town written about in The Abominog: The Adventures of Kirk and David. She went to Kansas State University, her beloved alma mater, where she earned a degree in Criminology. She met her husband, Dustin, at Kansas State and was married in 2001. They have been traveling the country ever since as an Air Force family living in Ohio, Florida, California, and currently, Virginia. She also holds a Master's in Applied Behavioral Science from Wright State University.
Amy home-schools her two daughters, Rhianna and Sydney, and loves being the teacher of her "one room school-house." She loves the excitement of the military life, football games on Saturdays, church on Sundays, a good book, date-nights with her hubby, reading books with her kids, browsing through CDs at music stores, kitties in her lap, and spending time with all her loved ones, to name just a few things.
