Deb Mielke is the President of Treillage Network Strategies, Inc. She has more than twenty years of experience at the leading edge of data communications technologies and services. Mielke formed Treillage Network Strategies, Inc. in 1998, and works with providers of communications services and software and hardware vendors worldwide to develop unique market and differentiation strategies as well as implement new products and services. Mielke is an industry visionary with proven accuracy in predicting industry trends and developing strategies and services to exploit these opportunities early in the market evolution. Her hands-on experience with customers and service providers covers nearly all aspects of data and voice networking from the LAN to the WAN, from home and enterprise networks to the carrier's back office, from strategic planning to actual implementation.
Prior to forming Treillage Network Strategies, Mielke was a consultant and analyst performing technical research and developing market and product strategies for such companies as Compaq Computer Corporation, Cisco Systems, Ascend Communications, Inc., GTE, Bay Networks, AT&T, and Visual Networks, Inc. Mielke has worked for MCI Systemhouse, MCI Data Marketing and Professional Services Organization (PSO), BT North America, BT Tymnet, and Tymnet McDonnell Douglas.
Deb has been published in Business Communications Review, Light Reading, Network World, X-Change Magazine, Telecommunications Magazine, Packet Magazine, Network Magazine and other industry trade journals. She is on Telecommunications Magazine's editorial advisory board and was a columnist for tele.com. Her speaking engagements have included panels and forums at NetWorld Interop, SuperNet, SuperComm, CICA, Comnet, The SoftSwitch Consortium, IN World, The ASP Summit, VON, New World Service Provider Summit and many others. She has participated in Telecommunications Magazine's educational tour on service development and has served as a key note speaker for many platform vendor seminars and events.
