About the author:
This is my seventh published book. Several of my books are poetry for children through adult ages with illustrations. I do have two edited/transcribed diaries which are also published.
I try to present material to my readers which will make them think and become better individuals. A lot of my poems do have a moral lesson behind them; others are for pure reading pleasure.
My edited/transcribed diaries are presented in a manner which gives the reader a sense of history unfolding before their eyes. I am a strong believer in history and believe knowing the past does help develop the future. They also help make the reader a more informed, understanding individual.
I do have a BS degree in English, a MA in sculpture, and a MFA in ceramics. Education has been a very strong factor in my life and it is represented in what I write and edit.

The Ugly Little Tree

Authored by Donald G. Enz
Edition: 1

This is a short story, with pen and ink illustrations by the author, about a small pine tree which was cut down as a Christmas tree. It was very small and not mature or filled out with fine branches and needles like the other trees being cut down for sale in the city.
It is a story of rejection by the public of the little, not fully grown, tree and its eventual triumph. The book is child friendly and an illustration leads each paragraph. The images are simple and a child can easily follow the story just by looking at the illustrations.
