About the author:
Ron B Palmer is a constitutional scholar and political activist dedicated to creating a world where getting divorced does not mean losing your children. He works tirelessly to help parents understand what their parental rights are and how they can most effectively assert those rights when other people backed by the government seek to take those rights away.
In his last book with co-author and wife Sherry L Palmer, Ron laid out the constitutional history of parental rights and clarified the source of parental rights based on 90 cited U.S. Supreme Court opinions and other Federal Appellate and State Supreme Court opinions. He provided sound arguments that empower parents being deprived of their rights to argue their rights effectively at all levels of our State and Federal Courts.
As promised in that book, this book leads the charge for greater recognition of the rights parents have today and for strengthening those rights based on the many ways that States have sought to inappropriately deprive parents of their children. This book is the beginning of a political statement that parents rights to their children are Natural Fundamental rights that must be given the utmost of respect by all branches of state and federal governments.
This book also sets out the rights that children have to free and equal association with both fit parents that should not be invaded by the State or infringed upon by another parent.
When this Amendment is passed parents will not have to reference countless Supreme Court opinions, they will only have to say I have 28th Amendment rights to be a parent and no Divorce Court can ever deprive me of those rights so long as I am a fit parent.
This book is intended to be a tool for citizen activists who want change to the sytem but who may struggle with all of the technical arguments. Now all you have to do to support change is hand this book to your politician of choice and say, "I want this, make it happen."
