About the author:
Sean Tiffany lives in Boulder, Colorado with his wife, Monika, a cactus named Jim, and a room full of entirely too many guitars. He has been a professional freelance artist and illustrator for the last twenty years working for companies such as Marvel Comics, Time Magazine, Sports Illustrated Magazine, Stone Arch Books, and The Geppetto Advertising Group.
In 1998 he wrote, drew, and self published his first comic book called Exit 6 which earned him a Russ Manning Most Promising Newcomer of the Year Award nomination. His freelance illustration career has kept him away from comics for years but, no matter how hard he tried to kick the habit, his love for the medium just wouldn’t go away.
Sean’s newest project, OilCan Drive, combines a web comic, print comics, videos, art, and music. He loves working on the adventures of the little band in his head and he couldn’t be happier.

OilCan Drive is the story of an outlaw rock and roll band traveling through the futuristic wastelands of America in a stolen airship.
With an ex-hockey player as its lead singer, a former soldier playing lead guitar, a runaway girl on drums, and a giant gorilla playing bass guitar, it's a post-apocalyptic Western with a rock and roll soundtrack. It's Josie and the Pussycats meets Joss Whedon's Firefly. It's the story of a band that is, literally, on the run.
"OilCan Drive: The Race" is a glimpse into a day-in-the-life of the cartoon band as they find an interesting way to resolve an argument about the arrangement of a new song. And how does a futuristic rock band resolve their issues? Why, with an air-ship race of course! Two airships, four band members, a stretch of desert, and an uninvited guest make the winner of this race anyone‘s guess!
Written and drawn by artist Sean Tiffany, OilCan Drive is an independent multi-media project mixing science-fiction, art, comic books, and rock and roll music that is fun for all ages!
