Star 82 Review 2.3

Authored by Alisa Golden

Star 82 Review is an art and literary online and print magazine with excellent original work and lyrical language. The written pieces included are short and contain between 14-1000 words; they are meant to be easily read both onscreen and on the page. Each one is layered and worthy of multiple readings.

In this issue, we've got boats as metaphors, boats as installations, boats with holes, holes without boats. It's the time of year to take stock, take a critical stance, apologize, start again if we can. But it's not all serious! We have ordinary lives that are extraordinary: chairs that seem to be having a conversation, and a rubber duck that navigates the relationship between two cousins.

Fall 2014 brings us a diverse and international array of poems, stories, and art featuring people and things broken and mended, duality and comparisons, letters and language. All of the stellar pieces in this issue come together to create an astonishing whole.
