Erin York has published numerous poems and short prose, and in 2008, she won the national Younkin-Rivera Prize for poetry. Erin earned a B.A. in creative writing from University of Missouri-Kansas City. She wrote THE LIGHT YOU CANNOT TOUCH because she believes all love stories should start with the heartbreak and end with the love.
