About the author:
David Miller started off working as a police investigator in Singapore. After eight years on the Force, he moved on to begin his writing career first as a newspaper correspondent and later as a managing editor for a stable of magazines.
Over the years he has written a number of commercial books for both the public and private sectors.
His first novel Year of the Tiger was released in August 2012. Advent was published in June 2013 and he is currently working on his third book to complete the series.
In April 2014 he was asked by Tess Boudewyn to pen this novel and fulfil one of the last wishes of her late husband.
DutyBound was published in November 2014 along with another non-fiction book Bahau, the Elephant & the Ham which recounted the day-to-day struggles of a small Eurasian community from Singapore trying to survive in the Malayan jungle during World War II.
