About the author:
Having worked with thousands of children of all levels and ages, I like to think I know what makes them 'tick'. I always try to write funny stories that anyone can enjoy, including parents and teachers, too.
My stories can make children laugh and hopefully think a bit as well. I don't like to rely on illustrations as I believe the main ingredient of any reading experience is the imagination (if children want pictures to go with my books, they are invited to draw something for themselves in the 'Follow-up questions').
My humorous chapter books are for Primary School children of all ages to enjoy, including newly-confident or reluctant readers, or keen readers who like interesting shorter stories. Each of my children's stories and poems feature a set of 'Follow-up questions' at the end.
Thank you for giving them a try and I sincerely hope you enjoy reading them as much as I've enjoyed writing them.
As for me, I still travel widely, practice Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), constantly read up on science, and love being among nature. Learning and experiencing new things is a great reason to live (in Liverpool, my favorite city on Earth).

'The Poo Princess'
A poor farm girl gets unexpected help from a gremlin, with surprising results! There's humor, drama, magic and maybe even a little romance all rolled into this not-so-traditional children's fairy tale!
'The Secret Adventures of Fart Boy'

'Ghost Poo and the Haunted Toilet'
John is in a happy mood as his parents are about to take him away on a mystery Christmas holiday. However, the trip takes an unexpected turn and he soon finds himself in serious danger in the most unlikely of places!
The collection also includes the bonus poems (or 'Pooems'):
'Who Dunnit? (A smelly classroom mystery)'
A rhyming mystery where Stevie suspects his classmates of making a smell, while phonetically covering the alphabet at the same time.
'Your Poo & You'
A poem about our differences and self-acceptance in the shape (literally) of our poos!
Each of the 'Smell of Poo' stories and poems also feature a set of reflective 'Follow-up questions' at the end.
