Hello Book friends,
There is nothing in the world like holding a REAL book in my hands. I'm a writer of both Fiction and Non-Fiction. Many of my stories are plucked from experiences I've had throughout my life. I would hope you would find a small space on one of your shelves for New Writers. I had my starting roots in Jamestown, N. Y., and lived in and around Chautauqua County until the age of 46.
Being a prolific writer from an early age, I have gone on to publish 24 books to date, found on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1? url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=Mr. +Don+G.+Ford
There is something for everyone in my stories from youth to 102. I have had many of my short stories published across the U. S. and abroad in 62 countries, connecting with 7,000 book club readers. I speak at retirement homes throughout Central New York, my newest residence, being in Syracuse (for the last 17 years).

Plight of the Butterfly
Mr. Don G. Ford
We have all heard stories about butterflies and read poems about the same. I'm presenting this book to raise awareness of the serious Plight that butterfies are in today, especially the Monarch butterfly in particular. Their numbers are dwindling, and more research is desperately needed to find out how to curb this tragedy, before it reaches a point of no return.
Enjoy the stories, full color pictures, and poems presented here. We can't let these frail friends of ours in nature down. There is a lot that we can all get involved in. We can find out what to do to assist in this dilemma.
Want to know where you can donate to help the butterfly population? Here is a good starting place! See link below.
