About the author:
The author, Pamela Burke, has worked with, and for, nonprofit and charitable organizations her entire life. She began searching for funding and writing grants in 1978 - first as a volunteer, later as an employee, and for the last two decades as a self-employed grant writer and fund development consultant. As a technical assistance provider her mission is to improve the quality of life in communities by building the organizational capacity of nonprofits - especially those serving rural areas. When not working, you can find her planning her next trip, working in the garden, dabbling in the arts, kayaking and volunteering.

With this book you can search among 300+ pet, animal welfare and wildlife supporters to find possible funding partners - compiled by Pamela Burke, a successful professional grant writer with decades of experience. Bonus sections include information about writing a grant, technical assistance providers and other fundraising methods!
