Dr. Shreyas Gandhi is an electrical engineer by profession, but extremely passionate about creating and developing stories for young children. He was born and raised in the United States, and has been residing in Los Angeles, California for over 35 years. He is married with 2 children. His boys are 15 and 9, and are the focus of his time and energy. Dr. Gandhi received a Doctoral degree in Education from Pepperdine University in 2009, and looks forward to continuing to develop the Amazing Adventures of Alex the Crocodile picture book series. Dr. Gandhi currently teaches Data Analysis & Interpretation (Quantitative Methods) at Pepperdine University's Graduate School of Education & Psychology. Dr. Gandhi is also a former professor of Mathematics, an avid runner, and also a licensed private pilot. He enjoys traveling, meeting new people, and attending live sporting events with his children. Dr. Gandhi is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).
