About the author:
Author Kate Norlander has been a geek since childhood, when she stepped through the wardrobe into Narnia, rode in Wonder Woman's invisible plane, and accompanied Frodo on his quest. While working for a university, she has had opportunities to interview CEOs, nuns, doctors, at-home moms, college students, and other interesting people. She believes that everyone has a story worth sharing.

Photographer Emerlee Sherman has loved photography all of her life, starting with her first Polaroid when she was six and then playing in the darkroom in fifth grade. Color, lines, structure, design, architecture, music, energy, movement, people, and fun inspire her art and drive her images. Her experience compel her to tell the stories of the people around her through photography.
