About the author:
Ever since I was a small child, all I wanted to do was to become an Artist. Armed with a vivid imagination, I would while away the hours drawing monsters, robots and all sort of gross and spooky things. I found much joy in the works of Richard Scarry, Maurice Sendak and Dr Seaus. Now as a grownup (of sorts), I try and remember these themes of fun and imagination, doing my best to put them in my own Children's books that I have a hand in creating.
I have been fortunate enough to work on a number of Children's books as a Writer, Illustrator and sometimes as both. I have been equally blessed enough to be able to team up with my wife Christina on a couple of book projects, with a number of new books in various stages of percolation at any given time.
I figure that at the end of the day, If I can create a book that would have interested my 6 year old self, promote literacy in one form or another and fulfill my desire to create fun and engaging art, then it is mission accomplished.
Baby Fairies In My Garden
Have you seen the wee Fairy Folk? Well, look no further than your own garden to catch a glimpse.
In 2010, Shaun and Christina Patterson travelled far and wide to observe the magical fairy folk in their natural habitat. Little did they know that they needn't look farther than their own garden. Teeming with baby fairies, join Shaun and Christina as they introduce you to these smallest of the small.
Baby fairies are not so different from human babies. Watch as they feel, learn, explore and laugh in their wonderful garden homes.
