Kimberly Wallace has spent most of her career in the grocery retailing industry. During the course of her career, she had the pleasure of traveling the world - sourcing food for the companies she worked for...and sometimes just for her own pleasure.
At the last company she worked for, she was the director of communications and the managing editor of the company's major sales publication. The position again allowed her to travel around the world to places like: Brazil, Chile, and various cities throughout Germany and Italy. Additionally, she vacationed in India, Asia, and South Africa. And did research in Cuba.
Rather than bring back lots of souvenirs, she took up photography and started her travel blog: The Dish in Heels so friends and family could virtually travel with her.
