About the author:
Sean Tiffany lives in Boulder, Colorado with his wife, Monika, a cactus named Jim, and a room full of entirely too many guitars. He has been a professional freelance artist and illustrator for the last twenty years working for companies such as Marvel Comics, Time Magazine, Sports Illustrated Magazine, Stone Arch Books, and The Geppetto Advertising Group.
In 1998 he wrote, drew, and self published his first comic book called Exit 6 which earned him a Russ Manning Most Promising Newcomer of the Year Award nomination. His freelance illustration career has kept him away from comics for years but, no matter how hard he tried to kick the habit, his love for the medium just wouldn’t go away.
Sean’s newest project, OilCan Drive, combines a web comic, print comics, videos, art, and music. He loves working on the adventures of the little band in his head and he couldn’t be happier.

OilCan Drive is the story of an outlaw rock and roll band traveling through the futuristic wastelands of America in a stolen airship.
With an ex-hockey player as its lead singer, a former soldier playing lead guitar, a runaway girl on drums, and a giant gorilla playing bass guitar, it's a post-apocalyptic Western with a rock and roll soundtrack. It's Josie and the Pussycats meets Joss Whedon's Firefly. It's the story of a band that is, literally, on the run.
In “OilCan Drive: Track Three,” the band has escaped from the military and into the wastelands of the Outer Zone but, with a broken airship and shoddy parts, they have a bit of time to reflect on their present situation. Nicole takes the time to send a letter to her father, General Baylor. But, will a simple letter trying to explain herself be enough to stop her father from tracking and trying to apprehend the fugitive rock and roll band? And what's that beeping? Does anyone else hear that?
“OilCan Drive: Track Three” continues the story of the comic book, outlaw, rock and roll band and features a 28 page story along with an extensive sketchbook section of additional art to make an impressive 64 page book.
Written and drawn by artist Sean Tiffany, OilCan Drive is an independent multi-media project mixing science-fiction, art, comic books, and rock and roll music that is fun for all ages!
